A description of what happened including the date and time of loss
Quotes or Invoices for the repairs or replacement of the damaged items
A report from a repairer detailing what caused the damage or loss
The contact details of others involved like witnesses or third parties
Photos of the damage
Proof of ownership of the damaged or lost item such as original receipt
